System design & architecture
Whether you're building a new system from scratch, or iterating on an existing WordPress architecture, we'll help you make sure the outcome meets your immediate platform requirements, and is ready for your long-term goals. From single-server to distributed, highly-available and fault-tolerant clusters.
Servers & infrastructure management
Offload your entire fleet of WordPress servers to us. We'll make sure all services are up and running, hardware is healthy, software is up to date. We'll work directly with your infrastructure provider to resolve on-site, hardware and networking issues.
We support bare-metal (including KVM) services, as well as the following virtualized environments: Amazon Web Services, Google Cloud Platform, DigitalOcean, Linode. We work primarily with Debian/Ubuntu or CentOS/Fedora/RHEL systems, including hosted and self-managed Kubernetes clusters. We'll create or support your existing CI/CD practices.
Performance & load testing
We've developed an in-house suite of tools and utilities to load test various WordPress workloads, including e-commerce, LMS and other write/compute heavy flows. Continous load testing is also available at a fraction of your overly priced Grafana k6 subscription.
A performance audit will help you identify speed and memory bottlenecks in your application code and database queries. We'll consult your development team on the best ways to address these bottlenecks, without compromising (too much) functionality.
Security & penetration testing
Security audit for hosting and SaaS platforms, WordPress sites, plugins and themes. Let us ensure your platform stability, test your customer resources isolation and throttling. Let's see if a carefully crafted fork bomb can cause service disruption in your shared environment, or if a database query can crash your entire shared MySQL cluster.
We'll audit your backup systems, and your backup systems' systems. We'll test your disaster recovery and business continuity plans, or create them for you.
Training & mentorship
Advanced WordPress concepts explained. From page and object caching internals, to tracing, profiling, load balancing, scaling and database query routing. A fully custom curriculum based on your business needs, for individuals or small groups.
Ongoing mentorship for teams and projects. Frequent checkins and code review to ensure things are on track.

Our ongoing rate for billable work for short-term projects, training and mentorship. Pre-discovery and scoping is not billed.

Flat-fee monthly retainer for longer term projects (subject to availability).
IP & licensing
All work produced by Koddrio, Inc. during the course of consulting engagements is the exclusive intellectual property of the client. However, any components based on open source software (such as those governed by the GPL or similar licenses) will retain and inherit their respective open source licenses.
We're happy to sign reasonable non-disclosure agreements to protect sensitive information shared during our engagement. However, due to the specialized nature of our work and the small size of the WordPress infrastructure ecosystem, we are unable to enter into non-compete agreements.
